Most residents in Togo lack access to clean drinking water, so access to additional water sources is desperately needed. Together, both groups have already established three wells that provide clean drinking water to hundreds of Togolese natives. Proceeds from the event are helping make this happen.None of this would be possible without the collaboration between the two waterkeeper groups. Hartwell Carson of Asheville and Kossi Koudanenou of Togo met almost three years ago at the Waterkeeper Conference in Boulder, Colorado. Since then, they have worked together to improve the lives of those who live in the region. Learn more about how they met here (p. 16).Salvage Station in Asheville, NCAbout The VenueThe Salvage Station is the perfect venue for an event of this caliber.
