Tidal kite investors & developers to speak in Stockholm

first_imgMinesto’s tidal kite (Image: Minesto) The representatives from the European investor InnoEnergy and Swedish tidal energy developer Minesto will be featured as speakers at the renewable energy capital markets day in Stockholm.Having invested more than €170 million in innovation projects in the energy sector, InnoEnergy represents a European powerhouse in supporting and bringing new ideas and products to the market, with the end goal to achieve a sustainable energy future for Europe and the world.To date, InnoEnergy has invested €4.5 million in Minesto, the Swedish developer said. Minesto’s CEO Martin Edlund will be joined by Javier Sanz as speaker at a renewable energy capital markets day – set up in Stockholm on February 7, 2018.Javier Sanz, the keynote speaker of the event, leads InnoEnergy’s strategy in Renewable Energies. With more than 25 years of professional experience, he has extensive experience developing new products and bringing them to the market in the energy and aerospace sectors.Martin Edlund, CEO of Minesto, said: “InnoEnergy is a major investor in Minesto and has played a crucial role to the company so far. Massive Dredging Program Underway in Osun State

first_imgNigerian Osun State Government officially started massive dredging program on their rivers and waterways last week, as part of measures to forestall flooding. Highlighting importance of these works, Osun State Governor Adegboyega Oyetola has reiterated his warning to residents against the habit of disposing wastes in rivers and drainages, saying that the government will soon set up a Task Force to ensure citizens dispose their wastes in accordance with the state’s environmental regulations.Speaking during the inspection of the ongoing dredging, Oyetola said that the decision to dredge all the rivers and waterways across the state was in fulfillment of the administration’s commitment to ensuring the security of lives and property of the citizens.The contractor handling the project, Engineer Benjamin Olamiju, assured the state of quality service, saying that the dredging project would be completed in the next few weeks.Image source: Governor Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola official facebook pagelast_img read more

Bulldogs JV Football Team Wraps Up Season With Victory

first_imgThe JV Bulldogs beat Connersville 28-0.Josh Mobley started the scoring for Batesville with TD runs of 17 and 6 yards.  Evan Williamson then ran 1 yard for a TD right before halftime.  Trenton Kincaide scored the 2 point conversion to make it 20-0 at halftime.  The lone touchdown in the second half came on a 45-yard pass from Bryson Bonelli to Gabe Gunter.  Jacob Meer caught the 2 point conversion from Bonelli to finish the scoring. The offensive line led by Blake Hon, Quinn Steinkamp, Peyton Hornberger, Ryan Thayer, and Henry Dirkhising had an excellent game.Trent Roell had an interception and played an excellent all-around game on defense.  Nate Deputy, Williamson, Alex Siefert also played well for the defense while Kincaide had the tackle of the year.The Bulldogs finished their season with a 5-4 record.Courtesy of Bulldogs Coach Tony Gausman.last_img read more
